The Radar MPD is a brand-new ski designed by water-ski icons Herb O’Brien and Andy Mapple. It was the most anticipated ski of the tests and didn’t disappoint. The MPD allows skiers to backside the ball, and it doesn’t punish you for your mistakes in the process. The ski was a standout with the power skiers of the test. In addition to being very forgiving, the MPD turns fast and holds a ton of angle. The Radar MPD gets the job done by being smooth and consistent.

The Radar MPD that was tested in this review is an early production ski. Radar MPD slalom skis will be available for purchase by late summer 2006.
