Below are the notes that were written by the tests skiers. These notes have not been edited for content or grammar. The only notes that were excluded were notes that were illegible or that were not pertinent to the skis evaluation.

JTH

Nomad
Mark Schneewind
The ski seems to lose momentum after the edge change and did not carry out well.

Bruce Butterfield
The ski turns symmetrically. Not as fast as the Monza but more stable.
The ski is very tolerant to small adjustments.
The Nomad is a high performance ski that is very easy to ride.
Will work great for many skiers.

Scott Greenwood
Very stable and predictable.
This ski is great for a skier that has a tendency to move a lot on the ski.
This ski turns very smooth but not as tight as skis like the MPD.
What this ski lacks in speed it makes up in ease of use.
This ski is very forgiving.

Scot Jones
I was surprised by this ski
I skied on the Nomad in fairly rough water and found it stable in all areas.
It is not s a fast ski and is not going to make up time for you if you are in trouble

Ward McLain
Beautiful ski, excellent quality control. A really nice finished product.
This ski is great for a skier who is symmetrical, still on the ski and patient.
The ski requires proper technique

Tyler Scott
It is pretty fast and stable

Mike Erb
Ski turns even on both sides. Easy to get used to.

Kim McLain
I really like this ski. You have to be patient in the turn and let the ski finish.
If you style is calm and consistent this could be a great ski for you.

9700
Mark Schneewind
It rides higher in the water then my HO Monza. On my first set the ski got better as the rope got shorter.
I like the ski and that fact that I was quickly able to ride it with confidence.

Bruce Butterfield
Probably the best ski Good has built
Skier can control sharpness of turn more then on the Nomad or Sixam 1
Ski is very sensitive to body position

Scott Greenwood
This ski has a bigger sweet spot then previous Goode skis.
The ski is a little unstable out of the course and in the gate pull out.

Mike Erb
Awesome offside turn.
A little tough to initiate onside turn.
A little squirrelly
Less stable then Sixam but very good.
I might buy this ski.

Jim Morton
My first time every on a Goode and I loved it.
I need to buy one! .

Kim McLain
You have to be patient out of the turn and let he ski finish the turn before the load.
You do not have to work to get out wide.

Monza
Keith Albritton
After ridding the Monza Albritton said I am buying one!

Scot Jones
Smooth transition in and out of the turn which is confidence inspiring
It is very stable though the turn and is capable of very short line skiing
Overall a great ski

Ward McLain
Onside is rips. Offside lacks a little angle.
I think a 67 would be better

Tyler Scott
Good speed but could not turn on either side and could not set it on edge.

Mike Erb
Easy to initiate turns, even turns on both sides & fast from ball to ball.

Kim McLain
One of the best skis in the tests.
Is much faster the X5
This ski seems like it could help me pick up some buoys.
This ski is aggressive and forgiving at the same time.

Jim Morton
Ski felt a little unstable at the apex of the turn but came around with great angle.
Offside turns are super
Very nice though the wakes.
This ski works for me.

Kim McLain
I might like this ski best.
This is a ski that could help me pick up extra balls.
This ski is both aggressive and unforgiving

F1
Mark Schneewind
The F1 is stable and turns nice.
The fin box is very hard to use.
I could make this ski go where I needed it to go.
This ski is a favorite.
Good Acceleration, fast but in control

Bruce Butterfield
Ski just did not finish the turn well. Squirrelly

Greenwood
Very smooth ski, easy to control and easy to turn
Carries out great
The ski sits deep in the water in the turns which gives you're the confidence to Rip!
I feel that I can increase my intensity off the turn with totally control.
This ski has a large sweet spot
This ski is a sleeper that I recommend.

Scot Jones
Good Stick!
If the F1 was faster I would get one

Tyler Scott
Very good speed and carryout.

Chad Scott
Ski is difficult to ride. It bits hard on offside and dumps on the onside.
It has great acceleration out of the ball.

Jim Morton
Very stable turns. Very fast ski with good carry out.
Overall the F1 works for me

Kim McLain
Yuk! I was unable to even run my opening pass! Not for me.

MPD
Bruce Butterfield
Good ski but is a lot of work.
Hesitates out of the turn and does not carry speed as well as some of the other skis in the test.

Mark Schneewind
This ski is a winner. My top ski of the weekend.
The ski improved as the rope got shorter.

Scott Greenwood
The ski is very stable in and out of the course
If you like to turn hard and load hard this is your ski
This ski has a one track mind at the end of the turn, it wants to Rip!
The speed is average & does not carryout with a lot of speed

Keith Albritton
Easy to get out up on
Effortless from side to side
You can make a mistake and get to the next buoy with not problem
With a little time to tweak I could make this ski Rock!

Scot Jones
I trust this ski
Feels slow out of the ball but still gets to the next ball early
The MPD likes to be on one edge or another.
The MPD sits very deep in the water though the turn and takes a little longer to really get going
Overall this is a good ski for strong skiers
(Ran 38 off the dock both times he tried it.)

Ward McLain
Set up on this ski is critical
If you like to turn hard this is the ski for you
This ski is sweet

Chad Scott
The ski is a little slow out of the ball. Stable. Turns great.

Jim Morton
Great though the wakes.
Even with big mistakes the ski gets good angle and gets you back in the pass.

Sixam 2
Bruce Butterfield
The fin clamp is awful.
Very solid though wakes. Round arching turns. Holds angle great.
Turns on a rail and can be pushed hard. Accelerates better then the Sixam 1. Carries speed though the turn.

Scott Greenwood
The Sixam 2 is a bit faster and carries more speed though the turn then the Sixam 1
Thumbs up on this ski
It has balanced speed and control
The extra width helps hold you upright in the turns.

Keith Albritton
After a few adjustments this ski works great

Ward McLain
Ski was way too big at 36 mph but worked quite well at 34 mph

Tyler Scott
Very stable but slow out of the turns.
…could not get the ski to finish the turns

Mike Erb
Very Stable
Even turn on both sides
Felt comfortable right away.

Sixam 1
Mark Schneewind
Fin box is awful. Binding inserts were not centered on the ski.

The Sixam 1 felt squirrelly at 28 off. At 32 off the ski felt more stable. At 35 off I got into trouble but the ski was very forgiving and by 4 ball I was back in track. My 38 off was very stable. I could take this ski to a personal best.

Scott Greenwood
This is an easy ski to ride.
This ski has great stability and predictability also offering ripping turns
This is a ski you can trust.
I like this ski but wish it was faster from side to side.

Chad Scott
Fin block very difficult to work with.
Long completion of turn on off side.
Ski does not seem to want to finish off side but on side turns is very aggressive.
Ski is very stable and carries out well.

Jim Morton
Pull out felt a bit shaky but once on edge the ski felt very stable. Preturn felt good and off the ball felt even better.
Stable though the wakes
Overall a really good ski.

System 8
Ward McLain
Excellent graphics
Ski is just too soft for a 200 pound skier who gets into deep short line.
Is slow from side to side

Keith Albritton
I was so wide at 35 off that I the boat crew forgot to shorten the rope.
This ski is a winner

Kim McLain
Not the ski for me.
Was not able to get a good rhythm. Just not smooth and stable enough for me.

Scot Jones
This ski might be good for a lighter or more technical skier
Fairly stable but just too soft
