O’Brien Sixam 1 Point
![]() Sizes: 67.5", 69" Price: $899 (blank) Scores Speed 3.75 Turning 3.50 Stability 4.38 Carryout 3.50 Predictability 3.50 Overall Impression 3.50 The Sixam 1 Point is the current men’s world record ski. It’s user-friendly, fast and very stable. From the apex of the turn to the first wake, no other ski acquires additional angle better then the Sixam 1. This ski will reward a technical skier with near 90-degree turns but will also accommodate a skier who moves around more on the ski. The test Team found that they could mount bindings on the Sixam 1 Point and go straight out and run short-line slalom. “At 38 off the Sixam 1 Point was very stable. I could take this ski to a personal best.”—Mark Schneewind “Fin block is very difficult to work with.”—Chad Scott “The pull out felt a bit shaky but once on edge the ski felt very stable. The pre-turn felt good and the load off the ball felt even better.”—Jim Morton “This is an easy ski to ride. Great stability and predictability. ”—Scott Greenwood |
